We have been made aware of misleading/fraudulent emails sent to our members, faculty and partners by bogus companies claiming to be, work with, or associated with us The London Trauma Conference or our event partners Ex Events.
These companies often use existing event branding to appear genuine and have been offering a variety of different services from accommodation booking, to AV support, to delegate list access.
These businesses have NO AFFILIATION with The London Trauma Conference whatsoever.
These are SCAM EMAILS and are PHISHING and SHOULD BE DISREGARDED.
DO NOT REPLY, DO NOT CLICK LINKS and DO NOT ENTER PERSONAL INFORMATION.
Please be vigilant and stay safe!
If in any doubt, do not engage and instead check with us as event organisers via info@londontraumaconference.co.uk
Background and your data
Inline with GDPR practices, under no circumstances do we sell or pass on speaker, sponsor or attendee data to third parties without consent.
The London Trauma Conference (and associated partners) systems have not been compromised and we have no evidence that this or any other company has accessed any data.
Infuriatingly companies like this 'scrape' conference and exhibition websites, then pull contact details from elsewhere to reach out to companies and individuals to offer their services.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@londontraumaconference.co.uk
Thank you for your help in keeping us all safe from fraud and scams.

We have run some background research and it is apparent that a number of other events have also been targeted by companies in a similar fashion.
Below please find a list of companies/senders to be wary of.
We would advise you DO NOT RESPOND to emails from the below companies (or similar email addresses):
If you receive any such emails please let us know via info@londontraumaconference.co.uk
Our advice is to IGNORE THEM COMPLETELY, and do not communicate with them in any way. Writing letters and responding to emails simply confirms that you exist and are available at the address/email address/number they have for you, and therefore payment can be pursued.
These organisations have also been known to use debt recovery agencies, the same advice stands for these agencies. Do not engage with them.
In support of delivering the event you may receive correspondence from the below addresses/partners:
If in any doubt, please feel free to check with us as event organisers via info@londontraumaconference.co.uk (responses from ltc@exevents.co.uk)
