A variety of breakaway sessions will take place in addition to the main conference programme.
These will include two Ultrasound Workshops, the ever engaging Stand up Science evening as well as further sessions to be announced in the coming months.
These sessions are tailor made in-line with delegate feedback to address specific clinical areas or delegate groups. Presented by experts in their respective fields showcasing the latest thinking and techniques the breakaway sessions form a vital part of the London Trauma Conference.

The Ultrasound Workshops are open to anyone who has an interest in developing this modality into their practice, and will appeal to all levels of experience; from those with absolutely no experience to those wishing add to their skills or keep up with new innovations.
The faculty will be made up of experienced Trauma Specialists who have extensive experience of the use of Point of Care US.

Abstracts and Stand up Science (Stand up Science is SOLD OUT)
Scientific Abstracts will be displayed during the conference. Abstract judging will take place on Thursday 5th December.
A small number of submissions have been pre-selected for oral presentation at ‘Stand up Science’.
The Stand up Science evening takes place on Thursday 5th shortly following the daytime conference programme.
It is a relatively informal event that presents delegates with the chance to socialise whilst hearing selected researchers convey the significance of the submitted work in an oral presentation.
Please note - a ticket for Stand up Science can be added to your booking booking via the 'Add-ons' option. Pre-booking is essential.
LTC Networking Drinks Reception - SOLD OUT
Tuesday 3rd December (evening event, costs apply)
New for 2024, taking place at the start of the week we will be hosting an informal drinks reception offering the opportunity for peers to catch up and network in a more casual environment away from the conference venue.
Included: Event Access 1 x drinks token and canapés / light bites.
Capacity at this event will be strictly limited and pre-booking is essential.
Venue details will be released in the coming months.
The LTC Networking Drinks Reception can be added to your booking via the 'Add-ons' option.
A ticket for the corresponding conference day must be purchased to enable breakaway session access.
The London Trauma Conference has been approved for 24 CPD points by Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh
(6 points per conference day).
